The Easiest Way To Host Brunch

I am a planner. I have lists of lists and always doing everything in advance so I can sail smoothly through my events/roadtrips/everything with ease.

Originally this brunch was for Galentine's Day but cvd got in the way of that and so when International Women's Day rolled around I just moved the date. I didn't have enough time to prepare but I had an idea of a hosting a waffle bar which ended up being family style and incredibly easy.

It was so easy and that's why I wanted to share it here.

Shopping list

- Toaster friendly waffles. I bought a gf/vegan brand and they were amazing.

- Fruits of all kinds

- Maple syrup

- Whipped coconut / whipped cream

- Bouquet of flowers (optional)

- Orange juice or apple cider

- Sparkling water

- Sparkling wine / champagne

- Tea / coffee (optional)

There we go hardest part is over.

The night before

  1. Decorate

  2. Set table

  3. Wash all produce

Morning of

  1. Cut up all your fruit

  2. Plate and put on table or counter if doing a bar

  3. Toast the waffles

  4. Leave in oven at lowest temp with the door open or warming drawer

  5. Get your play list going

  6. When you see a guest pull in put drinks on table

  7. When everyone sits down take out waffles

  8. Have fun!

It's really that easy. I know there seems to be a lot of steps here but it's easy I swear! No cooking necessary!
