Open Letter to my Press Market Family

I have an app on my phone that asks me every day what I'm grateful for. There are 2 things that I tend to write down often - one is my family and two is my other family, my Press Market family.

When I walk through the doors to my shop I feel like I've just walked into my kitchen and all my friends are there.

Taken over the summer during an outdoor movie night under the stars.

You see I've worked in many kitchens over the years and Jaye and I knew the vibe we wanted to set at Press Market. We wanted everyone who walked through the doors, whether they were working a shift or just buying a muffin feel that they are welcomed and seeing friends they haven't seen in a while.

I can honestly say that Press really is that special place. I know what you're saying, Sara, you own it, of course you're going to say that but it's the truth. It's my happy place and it's the folks behind the counter that make it that way.

We get complimented so often about our staff and vibe and every time I answer, it's really not me, it's them. They make Press feel like home.

They work so hard but always find moments to have deep belly laughs, hold meaningful conversations and listen with an open mind.

Press Market wouldn't be where it is today without their kind hearts, uplifting spirits, and good humor.

Thank you Press Market family past, present and returning, for all that you do. I'm forever grateful to have you all in my life.

Side note // My husband Jaye and I own Press Market. I'm in the shop often while Jaye continues to work his corporate job from home.
