My mom is 60 years young today. We celebrated while we were all together before the holidays and I thought I would share some photos of the table setting, cake and unique gift.
We spent the entire day making a quilt cake with buttons and bobbins. Then we decorated the dining room and turned all the lights off as my parents pulled up.
It was a mini surprise party since we knew we wouldn't be together for her big 6 - 0.
Weeks before the party, Hunter and I took a little trip to Toronto to a place called Selftraits. They snapped his photo (safely) in a dome with cameras all around and in a few short weeks we had his little sculptrait delivered to our door.
This is our second time making a Selftrait and we absolutely love them. This time around we had a little ornament made and we also have a little Hunter in our home as well.
I know parties aren't celebrated the way they were before but there's something about a small and I mean really small party that you'll always remember.
